Just finished up a fun group of earrings in a new series...Hoop Charms! These pillows are double-sided, so depending on how you feel each day, you can wear a silvery side with accents of 24k gold Keum boo, or the reverse side with a contrasting pattern in 22ky bimetal! Handmade hoops are pictured in sterling silver with a 14k post and 14k gold ball at the end. Hoops are also available in solid14k for those who just love gold!

It was wonderful to be back at the Atlanta Contemporary Jewelry Show this past weekend! I enjoyed giving demonstrations on one of my favorite techniques...the ancient Korean art of Keum Boo. It is magical to watch pure gold attach to fine silver in its fusion bonding process!

I am excited about this pendant project coming together! It will be ready just in time for this weekend with the Atlanta Contemporary Jewelry Show at the Carter Center. I have had this idea for a new enamel series on the drawing board for a long time, using inspirations from antique Japanese kimono patterns. This black onyx druzy quartz stone accents the enamel well I think. It still needs polishing and a chain, but will soon be ready to go! I have other unique pendants on the bench waiting to be set as well!

I love making Pillow pendants in many variations. This one was a custom order with a hidden embossed company logo on a fine silver background! The reverse side is embossed 22k gold/sterling bimetal so it can be worn with another look.
